Just curious as to why glove laces always have a thinner end and thicker end? Also where is the best place to buy laces? USA sports direct has good bulk deals but I’ve never tried them before.

I am getting ready to relace/condition an A2000 1786 for a friend and he asked if I could put blonde laces in it to match the blonde glove. Anyone know where I can get them?
