IMO, definitely not. The composite feels different. Both years are really nice though.

I have the gray and orange and I love it. Can pickup the blue and orange pretty cheap. Wasn't sure if I should.

Definitely not the same bat. Last year's took a bit to get going. This year's is almost game ready outta the wrapper. I felt like this year's was a little softer too. Both are great sticks though.

Talking the 14 and 15....the new blue and orange is the 16 right?

I derped and misread your title. Still different bats. The 14 is probably the most durable of them all and is once again a very nice bat. They've changed in feel every year IMO but they still feel and hit great.
