Sorry..that dang Western New York accent of yours, has me not sure...I do appreciate the look at the post, bring a team to Montana from that far away and we'll gladly waive your entry fee. Do you have a team that travels and plays some tourneys in Canada?

Canadian Teams that have registered

At this point we have 7 teams from North of the border who have said they will play in this year's Montana Senior Games. We have 2 from Lethbridge, 2 from Medicine Hat, 2 from Cochrane and 1 from Calgary. The tournament has grown every year. We also have 10 teams registered from Montana, 2 teams from Idaho, 2 from Washington, and 2 from Utah. We have a 6 field complex and the tourney is a 5 game guarantee. We have room for a total 32 teams. If you have any interest in playing in this fun tournament or just have questions about it, please give a call to Mike at 406-239-2717, email at [email protected]. or visit our website at www.teamgeritolsoftball.com.
Thanks much.

Pitching and accuracy contests

On Saturday afternoon of the Montana Senior Games, we will take an hour break, during which we will host two fun contests.
Pitching Contest:
The pitcher/player will have 5 balls to pitch from the mound into a target placed at home plate.

Throwing Accuracy:
Players will have 5 throws from 2nd base to try and hit a 3'X6' pitching screen on the fly. The pitching screen will be placed at home plate.

Each coach may nominate 1 pitcher from his team for the pitching contest, and 2 players from his team to participate in the throwing accuracy contest.
Medals and prizes will be awarded to winners in each age group.
We also have a new concessionaire this year who is bringing an expanded menu that will offer a wider selection of good eats for the players who want to stick around and participate/watch the contests.
While the contests are being held, our Team Geritol volunteer ground's crew will be touching up the other 5 fields.
The games will resume, following the completion of the contests (appx.1 hour)
Please check our website at www.teamgeritolsoftball.com for more information.
