We just had our 1st night of indoor 6 vs 6! It is awesome. We use any bat you want and stotes which are like bouncy pillow balls that you can squeeze easily. The ball still comes off hot and playing the ball live off the roof or walls is sweet. There are a bunch of rules to make things fair and more like softball, but I must say it is a much better time than I expected. The bases are 60' and there is another 20 feet or so behind the bags so we play a 3B, SS, 2B, 1B, P and Catcher. Check out Spiderz 6 vs 6 on YouTube, I'm too lazy to post the vid.

If it's like the one I played in out here in Cali they are a blast. Three teams play at a time. Five Infielders (P,1B, 2B, SS, 3B), then the other team supplies four OFs and C, and the third team hits. You get three outs and rotate spots. If you're hitting well, it's a lot of baserunning lol. It was a lot of fun though.

They are a blast but I have seen them get heated when a team doesn't pull their weight in the field

We basically do the same here in NY, but don't use a Catcher, since it's one Pitch. Instead, we use a Middle Infielder. The base paths are 65', with outfield dimensions being 150' all around. Everything is basically in play.

E skills playing D Ball
Any variation to typical softball is always a good time now and again. Just like playing "Big Ball' with the 16" ball. Never played 5 on 5 though. Sounds fun.

Ill explain the way this tourny was played. First off you have 3 teams or 5 or six with a dh or fill in. Lets call um Team A, B and C .... Team a would Bat first Team B would play the right side of the Feild R RC 1B 2B and catcher..Team C would Obviously play L, LC, 3rd, SS and pitcher, Team B would stay in the Feild for 3 outs, then go hit. Team B would go to The right side And stay out there for 3 more outs (6 outs total) then go hit. Team A would go to The left side after the first 3 outs. Then rotate around. So therefor the innings have a Top Mid and Bottom.. This makes the games LONG!!! lol some of the games we played where almost 2hrs. It can be alot of running... But you get to hit alot... i hit 3 times in an inning multiple times. Mad fun just surprized these arnt more popular... i will defiantly be playing in these again.
