I am captaining a team for a new tournament in Florida.
A 2 day event has become a 1 day event.
We have 4-5 games before lunch and anywhere from 3 to 5 after including playoffs.
The question is how many guys should I have on my roster.Currently 12 for a 10 man field
And how to physically prepare for this, food, spacing the players, etc
I am in the weeds here.
We start playing at 8:30..Finish 4:30 ish
55 minute games

12 should be fine. Hopefully a few of your guys can play both IF and OF in case of injury or tiredness. Play your best 10 to start every game, get a lead and rotate in some guys especially for whatever outfielders are bustin their asses

12 should be plenty if it isnt hot as hell. Depends on age and fitness of the players as well. Ive played 7 games in a day and didnt feel dog tired until I stopped playing. An inning or two off every two games should honestly keep most of your guys feeling pretty good. Dont overthink it ahead of time. Dictate playing time as it requires.
