my leagues just finally switched to aluminum bats. 1 piece and 2 piece are allowed just have to make sure the barrel is aluminum. since my bag is now filled with unusable bats looks like i have to buy some new ones. any good recommendations on a few good ones. help would be appreciated as i know literally nothing about aluminum bats

Demarini F6, F7 or the new F8. Basically the same bat though.

Those are great choices if you can use double walls. If not then white steels or Anderson makes a good aluminum bat. Also can the handle be composite if not they your options are limited even more.

The Polish Hammer
Newer
Demarini White Steel or Raw Steel (they are coming out with a new one in 2016) - both are singlewall, White steel has composite handle, raw steel has metal handle
Easton made a two piece singlewall, the L7.0 (also the older version was a 2012 Salvo Scandium SP12SVC) both have composite handle, singlewall barrel
Easton Salvo Scandium SP15SVS (older version were the L9.0 & 2012 Salvo Scandium SP12SVS) one piece singlewall
After that you got Anderson Flex, Demarini Ultimate Weapon, Worth Legit Singlewall

Older
Anderson Nanoteks - OG Nanotek was a one-piece, 2012 Nanotek Alpha two piece composite handle balanced, 2012 Nanotek Omega two piece composite handle endloaded
Anderson Pyrotechs (pre 2011) and Flextechs (pre 2002)
Rip-It REAP5
after that you got real old school - TPS Ritch's Superior/Powerdomes, Worth Carl Rose/Lighthouse/Supercells/Easton Redline C-Cores (if they allow them)

Personally I am a big fan of the OG Nanotek, however, White/Raw Steels are pretty much the weapon of choice for those singlewall leagues that allow composite handles. On the downside the White/Raw Steels are not known for their durability.

Depends on what you want to spend. Seems to me most of the old Demarini doublewalls work well with the 52s. The bat in my sig has no problem clearing the fence, and they can be had for around $50.

You can't go wrong with any of the Demarini F bats. Right now the 2007 F2 is my gamer. Also check out the older Anderson RocketTechs. You'll also want to look at the new Demarini Steel that's coming out soon...

My bad, I got singlewall on the brain. If multiwall/doublewalls are allowed definitely add the Demarini F series bats, Doublewall distance & older Anderson Rockettechs (endloaded) or Techzillas (balanced). My favorites are the pre 2008 Andersons when it comes to multiwalls.

Easton makes some great multiwalls as well, however, most of the newer ones (L8.0, SP12SVM) are made with an inner IMX composite core. they are listed on the ASA website as multiwall but the inner barrel is composite which some leagues do not allow.

I'll always add the TPS H2 to the "metal barrel" list. When I played in a "metal barrel" league, this was perfectly legal. It's ASA legal too, so that helps.

I've seen a few of these leagues also allow the Mizuno Rage and Fury (which I myself used for a bit) because the bat says it's "Banzai Aluminum", so it qualified as legal.

Just adding to the previous lists. A lot of great options there too!

This is true about the H2.

TPS Ritch's Superior Fanatic
We use regular clinchers in my leagues and the TPS powerdomes seem to be a majority favorite for those that swing metals over composites. Ritchs Superiors (any of the 3 types), The Outlaw SB1, Dirk Androff SB2 just to name a few.
