Led by a Stellar WR Corps, MyJimSchwartzRdirty Looks to Have a Breakthrough Campaign

Draft Grade: B-

When a bottom-half draft slot yields top-half results, that's the sign of a strong effort by the GM. Such was the case with MyJimSchwartzRdirty, which flipped its eighth overall pick into a projected fourth-place finish in Little Idiots Play On League (8-5-0, 1,546 points). MyJimSchwartzRdirty stocked up on pass-catching weapons early on, using three of their first five selections to pick up WRs Calvin Johnson (first round), Andre Johnson (third round), and Wes Welker (fifth round). In conjunction with that drafting strategy, they ended up with the most prolific set of WRs in the league.

The Season Ahead

While Week 9 has the most players on bye for MyJimSchwartzRdirty (5), Week 8is actually projected to have the team's highest amount of idle fantasy points. They have one of the weakest slates in the league when factoring in opponents' projected points. Along with having the third-easiest overall schedule, MyJimSchwartzRdirty also has the league's second-easiest first four games and second-softest last four games of the season. An especially difficult stretch might begin in Week 8, when MyJimSchwartzRdirty battles the projected top-tier teams for two straight games.

Draft Notes

Strongest Position: MyJimSchwartzRdirty has two positional units projected to beat their slot's league average, WR (by 8.0%) and QB (1.2%).

The Heist Is On: The other league managers passed over a diamond in the rough. According to ADP, MyJimSchwartzRdirty got a steal in snatching Andrew Luck in the 10th round (93rd overall pick vs. ADP of 79.7).

Taking a Chance: With their ninth-round pick, MyJimSchwartzRdirty threw caution to the wind. They took Kenbrell Thompkins at pick number 88 vs. an ADP of 127.5 across all Yahoo! leagues.

On the Rise: MyJimSchwartzRdirty hopes to break through this season, led by six players who are projected to significantly exceed their fantasy points from last season.

QB Controversy?: The coach of MyJimSchwartzRdirty might need to flip a coin. Their top-drafted QB (Michael Vick) and second-drafted QB (Andrew Luck) have very similar seasonal point projections.

Digging Deep: LaMichael James is owned in less than 10% of all Yahoo! leagues (3%). Perhaps he will reward MyJimSchwartzRdirty for their faith.
