ASA only?

Forgive me if im late, but i just saw a bat with the new ASA stamp. the advertisement said "use for ASA only."
Whats up with that? New ASA bats wont bear the Utrip stamp?

My theory is its about sales but some say the new ASA bats will be hotter than utrip because of the ball ASA is going to . I don't know the official reason though .

I heard there will be one DeMarini with double stamps but most either have asa or utrip but not both

It has to due with the way the ASA only bats are made. They are made to pass the ASA tests only and won't pass the usssa and other tests because of how they are made.

some will, some won't. all the new Eastons are approved for all associations while some Demarnini's and Combats (and some others) are doing ASA only bats.
