Balls used in ASA

I keep seeing a couple different things. 1- The balls used in games. .44/375, my league uses .40/375. WTF?! This bad right?

Also, All the balls are provided to me, I have to pick up the balls and score book before the season starts. I read about ASA leagues where the team brings their own ball? Is my league lame or what? I play in South Bend, IN.

We have to use 40/375 too.

We use .44/375 in our league in Knoxville. We supply our on balls.

We are using .52 275 or something like that.

Maybe it has to do with how deep the fields are. Ours are 300 all the way around.

Get the 44 if you can. It will perform better than the 40 in the heat
