bat break in process. yes or no

Wanted some advice on breaking in a bat. Do i just swing for the fences or start swings at 50%?

Just take normal BP. Don't change her swing. Different bats take different amount of swings to break in.

Its a bat. Hit the ball. Every hit makes it "more broken in" and 1 hit closer to death.

This pretty well sums it up. Bat may start a little stiff depending on what it is, but the more you swing it the better it'll get.

Rotate the bat 1/8 or 1/4 turn in between each hit. This helps the composite break in all round the bat.

That's what we do.

You can also be a rubber mallet and pound the bat all over, while rotating it.
