Blonde ssk

I just purchased a blonde ssk z5 I think, and the leather has a different finish to it. It's not smooth. Do I still need to condition this the same way, or does it require a different conditioner or treatment?

It looks like it's actually a camel zslow model made of nameshi cowhide if that helps.

I would just conditioner with your conditioner of choice. I would test your conditioner on the thumb laces first and let it dry for 24 hrs and see if the laces darken before doing the whole glove.

I'm not super worried about the color, but I'm pretty sure it will darken it some. I'd never had a glove with this, finish for lack of a better term, and wanted to make sure I didn't need to do things differently.

I will test on a small part initially. This finish feels a little dry, so I figured I would need to condition more often if nothing else
