I felt the exact opposite as I'm a big fan. Pretty sure it won't out hit your DC's out of the wrapper but is probably more durable.
The new raw power line has a softer barrel than previous Eastons have had and for me the weighting of the Baker is nice. I have 400-500 swings on mine and is webbed up and hitting .52 300 balls nicely. Hit some grey dots last night which didn't seem to come off as nice but my mechanics felt off so it could have been that. I also have only experienced feedback in my hands only a couple of times on mi****s which for an Easton at this stage is nice. Mine will get tested this weekend which I'm excited to see the results of as to me this bat is much hotter at this stage than the last 2 years line with that many hits.
