I'm guessing these events are in North Carolina? Most people in the Northeast don't know where Poston Park is located. Good luck with your events.

Does class B even exist anymore? All I ever see is D, E, and Rec stuff or you see the other extreme of A, A+, A++ or Major whatever. Just wondering because my old team played USSSA B in 1997-2001 and was a C team before that. B was really good softball back then.

In the carolinas and va there is an elite series for c-open teams, they play 8-10 times a year in that with 8-20 teams each weekend. B is the top local division now, so maybe 40 B teams nationwide

We probably had 20-40 teams in the B States here in Ohio back then depending on the year. All weren't equal talent wise but it at least it let our big guys hit some HR's. C only allowed 1 HR then. The C states had probably twice as many teams. Times sure have changed. Are there more sandbagging teams now or has the high C and B teams just moved to A for the HR's?

Rec and E are chock full of talent now. Lots of sandbagging but to play upper ball your team (A and above) really needs to be paying players and benefits and ish with travel included and such to compete. Its called conference usa. best 30ish teams in america play in that series most weekends. Its the best ball on the planet and by far the coolest softball experience I've ever had. The deal now is anyone can his a home run tho so you build to what class you are going to play not to long ball talent.
