Compression tester

I've tried searching but couldn't get an answer that I've been satisfied with the answers I've found so I'm going to ask. Is there a difference between the usssa compression machine and the asa compression machine? I ask because my mv1 just barely failed one notch on the asa machine just wondering if that is legit or not? The pink triangle is set to 1550 psi

Smarter than you're
We have an ASA tester, so the formula is [(compression-500)*.23] It's a little odd though, because if you use their numbers, with the 240PSI, it doesn't equate exactly to 1550. Utrip (220) equates to 1456 on the ASA tester, as long as it's preloaded to 500PSI. I've watched our LD/ISA State Director test a bunch of bats, and I don't see how people can do it wrong, the tester is very simple to use.
