2 scenarios...SENIOR SOFTBALL 1) outfielder makes a sliding catch on a fly ball rolls over and glove comes off his hand...but ball is still in glove when the fielder next to him picks it up whats the call? 2) fielder makes a catch and collides with team mate and is knocked out ball comes out of glove and lands on his chest after a few seconds another out fielder picks it up whats the call?

i'd say both balls are treated on the ground.

once in a lifetime scenarios though.

1. Is not a catch, once the glove comes off the hand when the gloves touches the ground it is no longer a catch
2. The fielder is out and the batter is out.
