Congrats to a great player and a class act.

During the pre-game intros, the Jets would sometimes let a local high school team line up to slap hands with the players as they run out of the tunnel. Curtis would make it a point to go to each and every one of the kids and shake hands with him, not just run by with his hand out.

Great runner, underrated blocker and pass catcher. Leader. Wish the Jets still had #28 on the team.

One thing we can definitely agree on. Curtis Martin was a complete running back and deserved to be selected to the HOF.

as a runner, curtis martin was good but he was never really great......he had 1 or 2 great seasons and a bunch of workhorse type years....he stayed healthy, that was his main skill...he deserves to be in for the numbers he complied over a long career and that he was a solid receiver

love CM so glad he got in .. so steady .. pass protection, receiving, held onto the ball etc..

still think Lamont Jordan would have approached 2K behind that line in '04 though .. that was his year to blow up IMO
