Thinking about getting a kp92 custom done what is the difference in customs besides color?

imo the custom leather is stiffer and more durable than retail models I've had. I will only get a PI or custom Wilson from here on out (unless a deal is to be had).

Yeah I have to agree with Phantom... Wilson does need to offer more traditional colors. I'm tired of all these clown gloves. Rawlings has the right idea with their line up.

My only beef with Rawlings customs is there doesn't seem to be a decent glove builder. It also seems Bob will do things for some but not for the masses. I have a Rawlings I want but I know it can't be made. Certain label, no embroidery on the index, and other things that I can't get done. At least with the Wilson glove builder I know what my options are and the glove builder is nice. I prefer Rawlings over Wilson, so not biased at all.

Wilson does indeed have the best glove builder out right now. So much better than Mizuno's and Rawlings's.

How customizable are these?

For instance.....I'd prefer the hand stall to be more like the RB8 vs the 1799......is that possible?

Or actually just a different colored RB8 would be easier to say.

i'll snap a picture later on with a ball in it. i don't have a cloth tape to get a super accurate measurement though.

I have both.....and I can TIP easily with the RB8 including LS padded glove......TIP is uncomfortable with the 1799 and that's barehanded even.

hmmm...I have a 1799 and its easy to TIP. I wear a L batting glove for frame of reference.

I double checked last night.....and sure enough, the RB8 has more room for TIP than the 1799.....and not by a little either. Weird that I accurately described my 2 gloves in my last post.

My 1799 might be a custom (I am not OG owner).....not sure if that makes any difference in the construction or not. My hands are not incredibly large or anything. The RB8 is very comfortable.

Wouldn't it have a circular stamp on the pinky stating its a custom ? I think.

I don't know for sure, but I think it was decided he was a "dealer" and selling demarini bats he shouldn't have been. It's been a while so I don't remember exactly what is was.
