So first tourney of the season and coming back from a bad knee injury. im only supposed to catch to get back into things. First game Sunday our pitcher walks the first 6 batters, they ask me to pitch so i said sure since we need a win. second inning of pitching a ball right back up the middle at my face. i think im a little rusty because i flinched and tried to protect myself instead of trying to catch the ball. ball hits my finger than off my mask. my mask now has a ball mark and my finger is wishboned...
just needed to vent because im out again now after not being able to play the last 9 months. i am glad i was wearing my mask though.
