Demarini Lightning ASA 44/375

Was just messing around with the search and noticed that there hasn't been much love for the Demarini Lightning balls in here. We've used pretty much everything and the Demarini lightning is up there with the best. Thunder Advnace, Thunder Heat, etc. Maybe even the closest thing next to the TA that I've used. And both leather and synthetic covers fly. Hold up okay.

Anybody else using these?

I've used them and they are decent balls and think they hold up with any ball out there as long as you get the right cover.

I used these, after a couple bps (200 swings each) they were some of the worst balls I've ever hit. Solid contact with one felt like hitting a wet ball of newspaper

Hit my first homer with this ball. Bat of choice was og extended.

I've never hit the Lightning, but it doesn't compare to a TA. That's just stupid talk. There's a reason they're not legal anymore.
