Is this the bat to have in baseball? I am trying to find my son (6 yrs) a better bat. He currently swings an Easton S1. He plays in a modified coach pitch league.

my boy has both he likes the s1 more i feel he hits better with the s1 also

I don't think the bat matters so much till they get to kid pitch. my youngest son swung a B1 in coach pitch and hit well, but the bats didn't really start making a difference till he was like 9. Now that he is 11 bats really do matter, he swings a B2, Omen, or the Easton lss4.

I like the S1 for him to but I think it is a bit heavy for his 40 lb frame. It is a 25" with -12 drop. I don't think they make this bat any lighter. If I could get him a 10oz big barrell bat it would suit him better.
