Has anyone swung this bat yet? It's the newest purple/green one. I haven't tried any of them but is this model pretty much the Freak 30 in .5 ounce weights? Wound up with one in a trade and was curious if this was the case or not. Appreciate any info you guys might have.

its not the same bat as last year. its got a new composite shell and it hot out the wrapper. compress around 240

Claimed to use X20 composite, not sure what that is or what they used before but they say it's new???

it's great. i have a couple freak 30's and i don't think it's exactly the same. i would compare it more to the gamer. no idea about the whole new composite b.s. but it's a solid bat

Do you guys really believe Miken is going to spend a **** ton of money in R&D to develop a new composite for an exclusive when they could slap on new paint for a fraction of the price and suckers will still pay up the yin yang for it? If that's the case I have a unicorn pony for sale.
