Generally obo would be within 10-15% otherwise one would get flamed for being a low-baller. He was just trying to get you more in the ball park. If a price is way high, most just move on without offering. jmo

Agree with your opinion, to move on without offering. It just gets to me when people make those comments " that's too high". If you think so then just move on...
