fundraising tournament idea

OK so long story short my mom puts on a tournament for veterans in our area all proceeds go to them. This year she was thinking about adding something called heavy hitters derby. Where farthest hit wins. She was thinking about 20 for 5 pitches. Rebuy 15. Anybody ever have these?

farthest hit in the air? final resting place? i've never heard of one, seems like it'd be difficult to mark the distance on each. unless you just leave each batters furthest ball laying out and mark it

Very simple.. have a bunch of ppl in the landing area.... have them use stakes withthe players name on them to mark where the ball lands.
