Generally leathers that require heavy dying will be less likely to last longer.

Avoid white and any other bright colors that generally don’t appear on bulls/cows in nature.

Tan is a solid choice for long lasting leather.

I haven’t seen Horween in the customizer in awhile (could be my ignorance). You can still get the tan ones from specialty shops, though.

Is navy in the avoid category too?

I generally avoid it, but it depends on the usage and conditions you expose it to.

I mean…sweat and high heat will destroy leather regardless of the coloring.

Gloves are an awesome way to get instant credibility if you’re using it correctly. Just keep it in a cool place when not in use and clean/condition it when necessary.

Gloves become floppy when the adhesive breaks down, and laces go limp. The leather color won’t stop that from happening.

Good luck!

Personally, I like tan on tan; tan with an accent color that I can fix with a sharpie; black on black with split gray welting; brown with that tan lace (like Dan’s timberglaze and tan lace glove); and black with tan lace (ala KG Jr).
