i am wanting to relace a mizuno MZG 1275. i think it is a Ichro Trap.

the piece of lace that holds together the trap how long is it?
i have 6 pieces of lace that are 48 inches long each. is that enough? do i need a piece that is 70 inches?

thanks for the help

thanks Pina.

i went ahead and started relaceing the glove. like i suspected the 48 inch pieces are not long enough to do the trap. so now i am trying to find someplace to get the longer lengths of lace. i have seen that Dirty 30 has started using the Tennessee Tanning lace (http://www.tntanningcompany.com/laces.html). if there are any other suggestions please let me know.

I would say tanners lace http://www.tanners.com
I think Tennessee supplies tanners, so lace quality is probably about the same. I've used tanners before and I've no complaints about it. I've never seen The Tennessee lace. Tanners will require you to set up an account with them, easy enough to do as long as you have a credit card. and hey only sell in bulk. If you're looking for just a few pieces check out these guys http://www.usasportsdirect.com/Baseball-Gloves-Bulk-Laces.htm

This glove is unique in a sense that it doesn't require as much lace as a traditional glove. You cannot do an Ichiro web with a 48" strip.

You will need:

3 1/4" strips (72" length) for the trap and fingers
1 3/16" strip (48" length) for heel (you may be able to do the heel with the remainder of the finger lace)

thank you Dirty 30.

i am really happy with the glove, and i am trying to learn to maintain it myself.
