HR Prevention Ideas?

There is a park I play at that has the same issue.

There are apartments behind left field (the field is 300ish at its shortest) with a 30 foot fence up. If you hit a homerun its 3 outs and they carry over so if you hit a ball out with 2 outs the inning is over and you start the next inning with two outs.

They also make you sign a liability form so if anything is damaged you're responsible.

These rules have limited homeruns quit a bit. They hit a few a year usually during the winter when the balls are hard as a rock from the cold.

The City sides with Condo developers Condo owners now it's become a "safety issue" we told them for 2 plus years this was going to happen they just ignored it. Now all this comes down. They are very few parks downtown. They say they will put up a net but we can't play until the net goes in and they say that will take 3 months so that's the season ffs

Play ball....
