I think my CF4 is broken???

So we were taking BP yesterday and one of my buddies was using the CF4. Well he hit one right off the endcap that sounded TERRIBLE! We checked over the bat because we all though it cracked but none of us could find anything. So I told him to keep swinging it, but now when it contacted the ball it seriously sounds about twice as loud as it did before Has anyone else experienced such a drastic sound change with this bat? I still can't find any cracks on it. I'm gonna hit it tonight a little before my game to see if it lost any pop. Any insight would be appreciated.

could it have cracked anywhere down on the taper.. havent seen many demarini's crack down there but sounds kind of like that could be it

crazy. mine had a slight sound change but mine also had a huge crack from the end cap to the bottom of the barrel. Wonder i it has some enternal problems now.
