Inner sleeve

Has anybody had any inner sleeve issues with the new bats?

I have a KF30 and the inner sleeve came out tonight with the end cap in tack. Th bat has maybe 250-300 swings and the sleeve looks like it has scotch tape wrapped around it.

I've actually heard of this frequently.

Yes, this is a common problem, it is a quality control issue, Miken will replace it for free. The inner sleeve still has the plastic on it which should have been removed before it was inserted into the bat.

The plastic that is on that sleeve should have been removed prior to assembly, this is the result.

just contact CS, this is a reoccurring problem & you should get a new bat

You don't have to shave it now

I am not sure how you would shave them, the walls are paper thin.

If they are over an 1/8" thick I would be shocked.
