It really is. It's amazing how different it feels based on the tanned color. The lime kip did not feel like this.

I don't think I've ever felt a bad orange tanned glove by any manufacturer. My least favorite would be the older A2000s with the shiny clear coat.

Just did this same thing in my Pro issue MZP31.
The thumb reinforcement was short
(It was just past the
the thumb laces).

I took out the padding, cut it open, added a new longer piece of plastic.
Sewed the padding back shut, and laced her back up.

Might be the way Mizzy makes 1B gloves. Now it feels more like my old Rawlings PRO–SC. Love it now.

I've only ever done this twice. My Rawlings TB24 had a Reinforcement that was irritating my thumb. That one I cut short.

Again, Nice work Dirty. I bet it feels like a new glove.
