Loose endcap on OG Catty

I picked up a used Catty in pretty good shape, prolly 500 hits. After my first BP, I noticed the endcap had separated about the width of a credit card from the end of the bat. I've never had a Catty or had trouble with endcaps on my bats. Is this something common with Catty's? How can I fix it??

It happens, seen them spin too....i'd just epoxy it back in if it comes all the way out

I'd probably use a 2-part epoxy as gorilla glue expands, not certain if this is the best proven solution however....anyone having completed this repair care to chime in?

Use 5200 marine adhesive if it comes all the way out. Put the glue on the inside of the bat when gluing, not on the end cap. Let it dry for a week.
