Loose endcap on OG Catty...

I picked up a used Catty and after my first BP notice that the endcap had gapped about the width of a credit card. It won't spin but is cleary loose. I have never had an issue with endcaps or repaired any so I need a little help on what to do. What's the best thing to do? Any assistance would be great. Thanks

just had the same thing happen on my catty...i cracked it taking it all the way out so now i am searching for a new end cap.

Separation on those is pretty normal. Block of wood and hammer.

Oh, clean the gap very very well before hand or your end cap may get damaged

don't worry about it's normal for cattys the caps ever really come out they just seperate some .

Either remove it and epoxy it back in w/ marine epoxy or leave it til it gets worse. Had the same thing happen to my SCN8...removed it and epoxied it back in...no problem now

This works, but yes the separation is pretty normal.
