Here are some before and after pictures of my Louisville GTPS7. It has a single post hinge web, like the RV23. Many thanks to @Rous for the hard work and extra cleaning.[GALLERY=media, 34459]20201003_195614 by StickCollector posted Nov 1, 2020 at 3:40 PM[/GALLERY][GALLERY=media, 34460]20201003_195624 by StickCollector posted Nov 1, 2020 at 3:40 PM[/GALLERY][GALLERY=media, 34461]20201003_195650 by StickCollector posted Nov 1, 2020 at 3:42 PM[/GALLERY][GALLERY=media, 34462]20201003_195700 by StickCollector posted Nov 1, 2020 at 3:42 PM[/GALLERY][GALLERY=media, 34464]11111 by StickCollector posted Nov 1, 2020 at 3:45 PM[/GALLERY][GALLERY=media, 34465]11112 by StickCollector posted Nov 1, 2020 at 3:45 PM[/GALLERY][GALLERY=media, 34466]11120 by StickCollector posted Nov 1, 2020 at 3:45 PM[/GALLERY][GALLERY=media, 34467]11110 by StickCollector posted Nov 1, 2020 at 3:45 PM[/GALLERY]

This was a fun project. Worst part was the lace that forms the "pin" in the hinge had rotted out. When I pulled it out it was like tissue paper. Since the original lace is sewn into the web, I had to find another solution. I was able to pull the ends through already existing holes. Still, that web is not designed to last forever without this modification. Also, you cannot really fit 1/4" lace through the tunnels of the web.

Turned out great though, that is really nice leather LS used. This thing had clearly been used a lot, but the leather (even the lining and finger stalls) were still in great shape.

The glove was solid with a great patina but I knew it was a slim chance I’d get around to reconning it with all the projects I have and even less that it would see a field. Rous did a hell of a job and especially like the long lace look. Now it’s time to get that beautiful piece of leather out on the field.
