Marucci lumps and bumps

OK Kidding aside -- I have a nearly new Marucci 12.75 that I just bought and it has some dime size bumps or lumps in the palm of pocket. The last time I saw this was with a Rawlings that I had relined -- and they repair guy said it was grease that is layered between the layers of pocket leather that had been disturbed. It lumped up. I sold that glove.

Any of you know anything about the lumps? Grease between the liner and the outer glove used to hold the pocket shape? Any way to smooth the lumps?

Thanks. My lumps thank you.

Posting in the fielding glove section is your best bet, lots of experts there.

I'd undo the heel and palm laces and see what's what. If the palm adhesive is balled up, you can melt it with a hair dryer, spread it evenly and lace her back up.
