Has there ever been an issue with the Revex (or any Miken stick for that matter) completely blowing apart? I'm not talking about a cracked bat here, but rather a Revex with just league use having the endcap and some of the insides blowing out.
Yesterday, my buddy's Revex sounded like a mortar shell going off. The insides of the bat along with the endcap blasted out of the end, past the pitcher. So there was a complete tube of carbon with the endcap which went all the way out to second base. It looked like the carbon had broken all the way down by the start of the taper.
Has this happened to a stock bat before? We were playing in 100 degree heat.
