Curious how this compares size-wise to a Wilson 1799? Mizunos I've encountered seemed to play smaller in size, more baseball than softball type patterns.

Compared to a 1799...deeper pocket, slightly shorter fingers, just as wide but hand stall is not as huge. FWIW, the Northern Euorpean kip Mizuno uses on these is nicer than any leather Wilson offers IMO. If this glove was 12.25-12.5 I wouldn't be selling it.

The same as virtually every other Mizuno glove...on the smaller side. My itty-bitty hands fit great in this.
