Our teams 5man bought a plastic power rangers mask and did a bunch of work to it installing foam and what not for some added protection and comfort. We all got a good laugh out of it when he showed up wearing it. First ball of the game gets hit into left field, as he throws it in to the infield he says " I hope you get hit right in the face". Next pitch is hit pretty hard directly to the 5man, ball takes a whacky hop off the stone dust and smashed him right in the mask. Mask exploded more or less, and blood starts pouring on the ground from his eye brow that got split in two spots. This particular guy never wore a mask until this day, and it was a double edge sword in the end. Mask saved his eye from being destroyed completely, but the plastic also made the eye brow splits worse than they could have been.
