Just a few questions.

New Worth Meyhem 98 vs the original? same or another crappy remake?
Demarini Evo Ax. did they remake this bat? i guess if they did how do i know i got the original?

Miken recoil max vs balanced: whats the diff!! does the maxload really have more distance atributes??

Original is better than the New one... new one is made to the new standard

Yes, there is a remake that was an exclusive to a certain site. The original has red/black writing rather than yellow I believe.

Max and balanced have a different flex ratio.... balanced is 180, Max is 250. Distance is based on what works for you.

I've owned both evo's and currently own the newer version. The older one is more durable but they hit the same.

As far as the recoil it's all a matter of preference of if you like balanced or maxload.
