RT DOA or GTG?

Noticed that DD's '05 RT has a little space between the outer sleeve and bat. One side is tight against sleeve, the other has just a little space. Is she DOA?

I will probably sell this bat but won't if the next kid can't hit bombs with it...

It has a normal appearance to me. It's most likely fine as long as all of the pins are intact and the barrel doesn't wiggle.

Hard to say without actually hitting the bat. If you hold the bat by the barrel and tap the knob on the ground, do you get a nice even tone? Or like a clunking kinda sound?
