Any Running bases on home run

So, batter hits home run and decides to run the bases. Does that mean runners are at risk for being out on an appeal, ie missing a base, since they opted to not hit and sit? our league(usssa) says if you do run bases you are at risk for being called out on appeals. Also if you touch first and second base then you have to touch all bases In our league. Is it different in other associations?

I can answer for USA softball. Adult slow pitch awards home to the batter and any runners in base. No appeals will be honored for missed bases on over the fence home runs in this situation even if they decide to run.

USA 5.5.A
Exception: All Adult Slow Pitch. Any fair ball hit over the fence for a home run or a four base award, the batter and all runners are credited with a run. The batter and all runners are not required to run the bases.

And 8.3.I
Exception: All Adult and Junior Olympic Boys Slow Pitch. On any fair batted ball hit over the fence for a home run or on a four base award, the batter and all runners are credited with a run. The batter and any runners on base are not required to run the bases. This eliminates any possible outs called or any appeal on the batter-runner or runners for any base running infractions.

USSSA slow pitch rule 12 section 2 addresses it. Couldn’t copy/paste the section but the book is here

That would be a league rule your director put in. In both USA and USSSA the ball is dead as soon as it goes over the fence and nothing changes that the runs count.
