Salvo date codes

A couple years back I had a 26oz salvo with a date code of 0510 and an orange plug end cap. It swung completely balanced. Felt like a 25. I bought it NIW from a sporting good store. Ever since then, when other guys on teams that I've played on had 26oz salvos, I picked them up to see if they felt the same way and they have all had and endload to them and felt closer to 27's. Has anybody else experienced a balanced salvo. Am I the only one?

26oz has zero end load inside of the end cap. No weight added to handle. Does feel end loaded due to short barrel.
27oz has 1/2-3/4 oz end load. No weight added to handle
28oz has 3/4-1oz end load, goo glue with some BB's. Weight added to handle to make it 28oz
30oz has 1.5-2oz end load, goo glue with more BB's. Weight added to handle to make it 30oz

Is it just luck of the draw, or is there some rhyme or reason as to which ones? All I can figure is to start hunting for the same date code.

Are you looking to make a purchase? I have a used (real good shape) 26 oz SRV5 that you could check out. I'm local so you could weigh it if you want. Not same date code though. 0611.

Appreciate that, but I'm looking for another 0510 in hopes it'll be balanced like my last one.
