looking to do something different and fun to end the year

Will do 3 GG $200 entry fee..only looking for 10 teams..

6' 10 arc
plate and mat
2 hrs per inning
1 courtesy runner

We had a wooden bat league that lasted one year in Syracuse. They were low scoring games (under 6-7 runs), no hrs and very few extra base hits. It was honestly just too boring. Some guys like the back to basics of the game, just not for us.

actually that league went for 4 years .. last year we took it over from Hopkins and ran it privately .... we changed the game to 9 innings .. switched to 9 fielders .. and we used a high compression - high cor 11 inch softball (girls softball) ..and the game was great .. high scoring games ... fences at Hopkins park are 315 feet and we had about a half dozen guys hit it to the warning track .. and in general there were a lot of big hits ... but .. you are right .. when Hopkins ran it and used the regular ball .. it was kind of boring ..
