slippery glove lining

I have a Vinci rv1961 that feels slippery inside/lining, how would you go about to make it grippier inside? possibly scuff up the leather with scotch brite?

it has more grip when it was new, in the last month (4months old) it's gotten worse

Some guys is a tiny bit of pine tar. I would be very careful and go light if you apply it. I'm to much of a wuss to try.

use a light coat of old school shaving cream. Grippy. I use it on my bat grips too, when they get dry

The new brown rice **** is gross and, it might just be mines, but it is also very undercooked. So yes the brown rice from chipotle.
