Been trying some small leather craft ideas with some gloves I've picked up. Made this for my friend as a surprise for him. Not gonna lie, this glove was hard to cut up, but I think it turned out alright. Have any of you tried this?

Decided to make something out of an old horween 1st base glove that the insides were too far gone.

How are you dong the sewing? I have had to hand sew for some repairs and it is pretty difficult (usually involves lots of broken needles and some blood).

I love stuff made of old goves. Last year i bought I watch strap made from a old rawlings glove. I would Love to be able to do it myself but... I’m afraid that the amount of blood loss will ruin the end result.

I've been sewing by hand. Been using John James needles, they're slightly blunt tipped, but not as blunt as tapestry needles. Regular sewing needles will poke you and tend to snap pulling thru the leather.

I have a couple card wallets in stock, but not any bilfolds at the moment. Is there something in particular you're looking for? I have a good stock of gloves on hand.

I am actually just looking for a card wallet. Something that can hold credit cards and go in the front pocket.

What do you think? 4 pockets, with a large split pocket for getting cash out easier. I can always re-sew that to make it not split.
