thoughts on this trade offer

I'm in a 14 team league, and currently have Ramos as my catcher. Not the greatest of options, but a low end starter in a 14 teamer.

I've been offered the following:

I get:

J. Montero (now C-eligible on yahoo)
Youkilis (can he turn it around?)
C. Sale

I give:

Hanley Ramirez


The only reason I'm remotely considering this is I just lost Pineda for the season, and am a little short staffed at SP.

Whatcha think?

I have Ramirez at 3B. (A. Cabrera at SS)

After the trade I would have Youkilis or could plug in Daniel Murphy.

Im pretty high on Hanley this year, so i would lean towards no as well. But im somewhat biased.

I rejected the offer, told him is was a fair offer, I just wasn't comfortable in the long run with it.

i would have done it, solid players are at a premium in a 14-team league you cant get away with stars and scrubs. You need to have a solid more balanced team, i think you missed out.

Agreed, Youk should also be 1st 3rd eligible. Sale has some nasty pitchs and Montero will be on fire by the allstar break. Mariners are better than predicted.

If its a keeper league thats a bit different.
