tournament scoring-- 2 scenarios

scenario-- the game is tied, runner on 2B and the game winning run on 3B--
batter hits a long fly ball that the OF gets a glove on buts bounces out of his glove and over the fence-- umpire rules 4 base award-- does just the run on 3rd score because it was the winning run-- and the hit wasn't an actual HR ? or do all 3 runs score?

the same runner scenario except after the hit the ball rolled under a fence for a ground rule double--
do both runs score with the batter on 2nd or does just 1 run score because it was the winning run from 3rd?

Are you using this for a tie breaker of "runs scored"

if you are, stop it, runs against is a far better way to do it as it protects teams who play short games and stops running up the score on purpose

If this is for stats, Im embarrassed for you

yes it's for tie breakers and we do use runs against.-- I just wanted to know an answer to my OP-- which you never gave?

1. All three runs are scored. Batter and all runners do not need to run bases on a four base award.

2. Only the run from third is scored.
