USSSA Recoil vs NRG 600

I used both extensively and both are great—the Recoil actually had more distance for me, but both got stupid hot. The main difference is the handle on the NRG is noticeably thinner (and the barrel is longer), so that is just a matter of personal preference as to which you like.

Dam. I thought they were both 14.5 inch barrels.

They both have a 14.5" barrel. Don't believe everything you read in here. Too many miken gurus. I liked the Recoil better. NRG felt stiff and the recoil ended up feeling softer IMO.

Thanks. I concider myself a miken guy (not a guru yet). Recoil is the last of the well known bats I havent tried.

Keep in mind that both bats have original versions and re-issued versions. Original versions of both last much much longer but take a lot longer to break in while the re-issued versions don't last nearly as long but break in fast. Re-issued versions can be spotted with serial #'s that start with a 0
