USSSA taking over GSL?

Is it true? I heard from a USSSA source that USSSA is taking over GSL. MI USSSA did this with ISA 5 years ago. USSSA doesn't like competition.

GSL will now be "partners" with Utrip. Each association will still operate independently of each other. GSL will not be dissolved into Utrip.

I only spoke to a few people about the USSSA/GSL partnership this past weekend. Maybe your friend was mistaken....

We are working together in 2015 !
