I actually got to hit BP on Monday with Kevin Bass and swing Jeff's 1st degree bats (I was told, HEAVY). The Bats are hot no doubt about it, they make that crack sound on impact and the ball just jumps off of them. Kevin seems like a pretty down to earth guy as well and hit some shots. I asked about the durability concerns everyone has and he said the issue is the paint and not the structure of the bat itself.

He hit all his HR's over the short LF and LC 357' fence. He should have tried hitting them over the longer CF fence. I guess he can't hit 400'+ like we can.
