It's not an out if you walk. If the pitcher can't throw strikes nmp. Got a team in our league and pitcher can't throw strikes and get's upset when we take walks. Part of the game. goi.

Good players don't take walks on a regular basis!!
Last time I looked there's no MLB scouts in the stands.

I'm a below avg player but i'll swing at some junk.

Bad enough I could have walked but I chose to go 4 for 4 swinging the bat.

I told there last guy that walked " I'll give you a token for the cage and you can stand there with your bat on your shoulder and watch balls go by"

The difference is that the machine will probably throw mostly strikes. Your pitcher was not.

Getting up there everytime with the attempt to walk does bother me, but it bothers me when teams complain because we talk walks when their pitcher isn't good enough to throw a strike. Not gonna swing at junk
