Wobble

What is bad about having a wobble? People always ask if a bat has a wobble and if it does it is worth less. I have had plenty bats with a wobble, but I trade or sell them before they break. So what happens as the wobble gets worse, and what ultimately happens?

People tend to think it makes the bat hotter. I doubt it. The bat is probably seen as "hotter" due to the fact that most wobbles start after the bat is broken in after repeated use and the stress from hitting wears down the epoxy on the connecting piece.

The connection is flared out inside the tube so it won't fly off, but is held together by other materials. When it starts wobbling, the materials have loosened and no longer hold it firmly in place. The downside to this is you will feel the bat on missed hits far more, as two piece bats greatly reduce sting.
